ABOUT THE RETREATS
Bedrooms
Each guest will have a twin bed. Along with sheets and comforter, there will be extra blankets/pillows if needed in the ottomans. Each guest will have a bedside fan and reading light. Each guest will be provided 1 set of towels. All of the bedrooms but the room with the single bed have smart televisions.
Kitchen
Each kitchen is fully supplied with most of the items that you might need including: toaster, mixer, can opener, cookie sheets, crock pot, griddle, air fryer, electric frying pan, Keurig Duo, and pots and pans. If you need something not listed just ask as it may be there. Both houses are well water so each sink will be set up with a water filtration system for drinking water. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be provided.
Crafting Area
Each guest will have their own 6 foot table, with light, cup holder, and trash. Tables all have power strips with USB ports. There is a television in the room for streaming. The floors are hardwood and concrete so they are cold. Rugs will be provided for under the chairs, but can easily be moved if you do not want to use it. I would recommend bringing slippers to keep your feet warm. CA1 has extra 4 foot tables along the walls that can easily be stored away if you do not want to use them. Both houses have an iron & ironing board.
Supplies
Did you forget something or are looking for that missing item? There will be craft supplies available for purchase including paper, tape, and more.
House Rules
There is no smoking or pets allowed in either of the houses. Guests who have not paid to stay are not allowed. Minors are allowed as a paid guest, but an adult must be responsible for the minor. Guests are responsible for stripping their beds and putting all dirty linen and towels in the laundry basket. If your group size is bigger than what we accommodate please message me and we can see what we are able to do. I provide a limited amount of household supplies, so if your group needs additional supplies please bring extra with you.
Loyalty Cards
To show appreciation for our customers, Craft Away has started loyalty cards. Each customer that stays will get a card to track their stays. After the 5th stay they will get $50 off the 6th and then after the 10th stay they will get $100 off their 11th stay. Cards can not be transferred to other guests and stays can not be combined with other guests.
In The Area
Craft Away is located 10 miles from Frankenmuth and 17 miles from Birch Run.
Shop Rite is the local grocery store that is located 2 miles North of the retreat.
Along with the grocery store 2 miles away there is a Dollar General and a Family Dollar/Dollar Tree
If you are looking for places to eat you can travel 4 miles South to downtown Millington where there is the Millington Inn, McPherson's Family Restaurant, Cardinal Pizza, Subway, and more.
If you travel 4 miles North into Vassar there is a McDonalds, Subway, Taco Bell, Little Ceasars, and Chinese.
